Never stop being a seeker. As students, we continue to develop our practice, study the ideas that interest us most and deepen our understanding of the experience of yoga. As teachers, our continued study allows us to broaden and expand our offering, as well as more fully develop our confidence and voices. As practitioners, we seek a sangha, or community, with whom we can share this journey.

Svasta Yoga School's 300-hour teacher training program builds upon the fundamental concepts of the practice and teaching of yoga that are taught at the 200-hour level.  A 300-hour advanced training prepares you to teach principles and techniques of yoga that are more advanced, detailed and subtle.

The Svasta 300hr program consists of three modules and a mentorship:

Ojas - Body

Curriculum includes diving deeper into teaching skills including sequencing, seeing and understanding bodies, physical adjustments, cuing the subtle body and anatomy.

Prana - Spirit

Explore an advanced syllabus of meditation, mantra, yoga philosophy, history, mythology, and Ayurveda.

Tejas - Mind

Establish a strong foundation for a lifelong study of yoga. Curriculum will include a deeper look into your daily home practice, ethics and your preferred elective: Yin Yoga, Pre/Post Natal Yoga or Therapeutics.

Mentorship

During the program, students will work 1:1 with one of the Svasta Yoga School faculty to expand their teaching skills while deepening their knowledge of the yoga practice. The mentorship will be uniquely tailored to support the needs of the student’s educational development and interests. This includes taking your mentor's classes, assisting your mentor's classes and practice teaching within a small group.

Join us on a journey that will expand your mind, deepen your practice, and inspire your teaching!
